Marposs S.p.A. was established by Mr. Mario Possati in 1952, from the idea to produce and commercialize an innovative electronic equipment for the measurement of the part during the grinding process.

Since its inception, Marposs has been providing shopfloor electronic gauging systems for the measurement, control and management of the dimensional, geometric and surface quality of mechanical components. A vast number of solutions to improve quality at the various stages of the manufacturing process can be provided by adopting the most suitable technology for each application.

These solutions range from the direct control of the machine tool to the final inspection of finished parts including the collection and statistical processing of measurement data.

In 2016, Marposs entered also in high pressure die casting process control through Total Thermal Vision, the thermographic system for the analysis of the temperature distribution on the die surfaces.
